Ultrasonic Instrumentation

Ultrasonic Instrumentation And Ultrasonic Irrigation

The use of ultrasonic frequencies paired with mechanical instrumentation allows our team of endodontists to remove internal tooth structure as conservatively as possible in order to reveal the entire internal anatomy of the tooth. When used with the surgical operating microscope, we can adequately identify and treat the entire tooth. This is particularly useful when looking for very small aberrations in the canal system such as extra canals or isthmuses in the canal anatomy.

The same concept of ultrasonic frequencies is also paired with irrigation of the canal system in order to break up debris and ensure that the root canal system is as clean as possible.
